Right Place, Right Time

Guys, I've missed you! Its been awhile since I wrote a post for y'all and I've seriously missed it haha. So after I finished my quiet time this morning I decided to share a little bit about whats been on my mind lately.

As most of you know I work full time as a nanny to a little boy and a baby girl. Mornings are crazy. Both kids have to eat breakfast, get dressed, brush their teeth, etc before we all pile into the car to head to school. Sometimes it's hard to slow down and enjoy those moments, but every day in the car JJ and I just talk. He may only be four years old, but our talks are something I cherish.

Yesterday morning, we were talking about how much fun he was going to have with his friends at school, and out of the blue he said "Kaywa, we are in the right place in the right time."

I looked back at him and said "yes buddy we are". He didn't realize how grown up he just sounded and how wise that statement was. This simple statement made me think about how significant our place is in this world, and the timing God had for us to be here right here, right now.

God doesn't make mistakes. Which means that there is no mistake that you and I were brought into this world at the most perfect time and perfect place.

"For there is a time and a way for everything, although mans troubles lies heavy on him."
Ecclesiastes 8:6

It can be hard knowing that God had a purpose when he placed us here in this broken world. Truth is God did have a purpose for you. He had a plan. You make a difference in the world no matter how small you may feel in it. If it wasn't for your place, a part of the world would be missing.

"Trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6

God knows the timing of every little detail of our lives. God is the creator of time, and we all live on his timing. But do we let him have control of our time?

I know for me sometimes I don't, sometimes I think what I want to do is better, but boy am I wrong. Does anyone else do that???

If God's timing and placement of my life is perfect, and the plan he has for my life lines up with the timing he has on my life then I should allow him to have my life in his hands. I have to give up control of "my time" and give it to him. Because my life is His. There is no such thing as "my time", it all belongs to God.

"My times are in your hands; rescue me of my enemies and from my prosecutors."
Psalms 31:15

I challenge you guys to put your life in Gods hands, and live knowing your in the right place, at the right time.
