Happy New Year

It's a new year! And with that comes new goals, new adventures, and new year to celebrate what God is doing in our lives.

Samuel and I went on a date yesterday to our favorite coffee shop, and got to talking about everything God has done in our lives in 2016. It was a great year!! But the best is yet to come, right???

So we came up with this idea... We created a " In 2017, we have faith God will..." list and hung it on our wall.

Here is what we have on our list so far:

1. Samuel's income be able to provide for our family.
2. Gods path be our path, not our own.
3. Grow our marriage and our love in Christ.
4. Samuel finish school, and pass the test to get his real-estate license.
5. Buy a new safer car for Kayla.
6. Bless someone every month.
7. Find a house for our family.
8. Get both our cars fixed.
9. Become more involved in our church.
10. Kayla's health become stable.
11. Samuel and his parents growing into a healthy relationship with each other.
12. Discovering a vision for Kayla's writing and blog.
13. Launch our Etsy Shop.
14. Finish editing our wedding video.
15. Explore new places together.
16. Take Lydia to the zoo.
17. Take a weekend to visit the Bradshaw's.
18. Capture more moments.
19. Go on a vacation together.
20. Pray together.

Every month we are going to cross off what God has done in our life and add any new prayer requests or goals for the next month. This way at the end of every year we can sit down together and see how much God has blessed our family the past year.

The idea behind framing it and hanging it on the wall was so that everyday we are reminded together what we are believing in for our family.

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.
Matthew 18:19-20

Some of the things on our list are dreams, prayer requests, little things, and big things. No prayer or dream is to little or to big to God! Together we have faith that God will not only bless us in 2017, but that he will bless every single one of you.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:19-20

The same God who is taking care of us, is taking care of you to. We are all called to be children of Christ. Make this year your best year yet.

Welcome 2017!!
